Returns Policy

All goods purchased from Shop For Fancy Dress may be returned for refund, exchange or replacement within 7 working days from receipt of delivery.

When you wish to return an item to us please email us first on contact@shopforfancydress.co.uk stating as to whether you require a refund or exchange. Please include your name/address/postcode and order number if available.

Any item that you wish to return has to be in its original shipped condition with no damage and full packaging included. eg. the condition of the item should be suitable for resale.

All items will be inspected on their return to us before a refund/exchange is issued.

Any items to be returned should be sent by a recorded mail service with proof of posting. We cannot be held liable for any items that are missing in the post. items will not be refunded until delivered back to ourselves and inspected for condition.

Your right of cancellation under the Distance Selling Regulations
      You may cancel the contract under the Distance Selling Regulations by notifying us no later than 7 working days after we deliver the goods that you are cancelling the contract. It is the responsibility of the consumer to pay for any return postage, and goods must be sealed, unopened and in new condition (including condition of any original wrapping/box).

We will attempt to refund returned items that have been inspected to our satisfaction within one week of the item being in our receipt.

We shall not exchange an item until the original item is in our receipt- we shall endeavour to make sure that exchanges are carried out in a timely manner.

Should an item not be required within the timescale of 7-30 days we shall not be obliged to issue a refund, although if you email us "contact@shopforfancydress.co.uk" with the details of your order included and reason for return, we shall look at this on a case by case basis. Subject to a 30% re-stocking fee.

Faulty Goods

Should you receive a product from ourselves that is faulty for any reason then you should inform us by email immediately "contact@shopforfancydress.co.uk" please include your name and order number if available. We shall be happy to exchange or refund an item that may be faulty. You should contact us within 7 days of delivery but in case of delayed inspection we shall allow up to 30 days from receipt of order to claim exchange/refund for a faulty item.

We shall have no liability for any item that is faulty due to it being subjected to wear and tear, negligence, misuse or alterations to the item.
